An American Airlines employee died Thursday at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Austin-Travis County EMS says they responded to an incident for a person with traumatic injuries on the tarmac.
Reports say the American Airlines employee had been operating a ground service vehicle that struck a jet bridge.
The death is being investigated as an accident. The name of the worker and details about how they were injured have not been announced.
