U.S. Customs and Border Protection has deactivated the agency’s Twitter account for the West Texas region after it retweeted posts criticizing President Joe Biden’s border policies.

Border Patrol Commissioner Chris Magnus posted a tweet over the weekend saying he has as he puts it, "become aware of unauthorized and inappropriate content" that was posted on the agency's WestTexas Twitter account.

Magnus also says the agency’s Office of Professional Responsibility will investigate.

In addition to comments about Biden administration policies, there have also been objections to persons who "like" derogatory gay comments about Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
