
A deadly helicopter crash occurred Thursday early afternoon on U.S. Highway 90 west of Uvalde.
According to the Kinney County Sheriff’s Office, the two people inside the helicopter, both identified as male, were killed in the crash. The incident took place on Harris Ranch, as confirmed by Uvalde County Constable Emmanuel Zamora.
Law enforcement agencies, including the Uvalde County Sheriff’s Office, Kinney County Sheriff’s Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety, are currently investigating the scene.
The Federal Aviation Administration stated that a Robinson R44 helicopter crashed west of Uvalde around 1:20 p.m. local time. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will conduct a further investigation as well.
