Four Oklahoma State University students have been charged in the discovery of a dead longhorn bull last fall.
Police reports say the body of Longhorn Steer was found in front of the Farmhouse fraternity building on the OSU camp[us. The discovery happened the week of the Big 12 championship football game between Oklahoma State and Texas.
At first it was thought to be connected to the game, but KTEN reports it turned out to be a prank between two OSU fraternities.
The OSU Animal Disease and Diagnostic laboratory says the longhorn died of natural causes before being placed in the yard. The four students are charged with unlawful disposal of an animal carcass.
