The Ten Commandments law in Texas was hit with another lawsuit Wednesday.
This federal suit was filed by a group of families in the Western District of Texas that are Christian as well as Jewish, nonreligious and followers of other faiths.
The suit says Senate Bill 10 is a violation of the separation of church and state as well as a violation of the First Amendment.
Also, it mentions that the version of the Ten Commandments approved by the law is a protestant version that is not recognized by others.
Governor Greg Abbott has acknowledged that the law would face legal challenges.
