Less than a week after a threatening note was found at a Henderson County school, deputies have arrested a student.
Last Tuesday, a threat was written on a bathroom stall at Cross Roads High School near Malakoff. The Henderson County Crimes Against Children led the investigation.
A sniffer dog was brought in to look for firearms. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned the name of their suspect and have now arrested a Cross Roads student named Carter Echo on a warrant for the offense of making a terroristic threat, a third degree felony.
Echo is behind bars at the Henderson County jail in Athens.
