All of Houston is under a boil water notice and it could be 24 hours before it's lifted.
Houston Water Director Yvonne Williams Forrest says the problem was what she terms a "ower pressure event" which forces a mandatory boil notice under state regulations.
All Houston public schools are closed today. Governor Abbott has directed state emergency resources to the city to help.
