After returning from a church summer camp near the Texas coast more than 100 people have tested positive for the Coronavirus.
Clear Creek Community Church in League City has canceled its Wednesday services this evening after also canceling on Sunday because more than 125 children, teenagers and adults tested positive after returning from its recent camp for 6th-to-12th graders held outside Galveston County.
Additionally, the pastor says hundreds more were exposed to the Coronavirus at the camp and hundreds of others were likely exposed when infected people returned home.
Some of patients are identified as so-called "breakthrough cases," defined as someone becoming infected more than 14 days after their second vaccination.
The Galveston County Health District says contact tracing is already underway.
