A man in Houston stole an ambulance last Sunday night and while having a joyride throughout the city crashed into TWO separate fast food restaurants, including a beloved Whataburger’s drive-thru.
One of the men who was hit told ABC 13, “Some dude just came in an ambulance and crashed it. Just came flying in the parking lot and hit it, head on.”
26-year-old Josue Vega was the man behind the wheel of the rogue ambulance, and as soon as he crashed into the Whataburger proceeded to enter the restaurant and run around the kitchen, according to employees.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt during the incident.
Police were able to quickly apprehend Vega, and he is now facing charges of one count of felony theft for stealing the ambulance, along with a misdemeanor charge for failing to stop and provide police with information.
