A man in Harris County is behind bars after being caught with 800 gallons of gasoline for which he paid just $8.00. Or tried to, at least.

Deputies got a call from a gas station in Spring near Houston. The clerk said a man was using some kind of device to manipulate the price of the fuel he was pumping.

The deputies caught the man later identified as Miguel Manzano. In his pocket they found a kind of remote that kept the pump from registering the proper amount of fuel taken from the pump. He's up on both state and federal charges.
