A Montague County co-ed is among the nine people killed in a head-on crash in West Texas Tuesday night.
According to reports, 18-year-old Laci Stone was one of the golf team members who died when a University of the Southwest van and a pick-up slammed into one another on a highway near Odessa.
The men's and women's golf teams were returning to the Hobbs, New Mexico campus after competing in a tournament in Midland.
On Wednesday, the Nocona High School softball game was canceled to allow team members to grieve the loss of their friend who graduated last year from Nocona where she played softball, volleyball and was on the golf team.
A donation site has been set up to assist the victims of the crash and their families.
