A fundraiser including a raffle for an AR-15 for a charity affiliated with the NRA won't be held as planned Saturday in Hondo which is about 40 mile from Uvalde where many objected because it's too soon since the May 24th school shooting.
After hearing numerous complaints, the Hondo City Council canceled the event which was going to be held in a municipal building.
