The Houston Rodeo season is officially underway but almost without one of its cows. One of those bovines made a bid for freedom early Tuesday morning.

Multiple videos caught the cow running through the road away from NRG Stadium and rodeo employees. The incident happened around 7 a.m., and posts about it started later through out the day. Several people chased after it, and one person got close enough to grab the lead rope but tripped and fell.

It took a little time, but the cow was eventually corralled again and no harm was done.

The rodeo festivities carried on including the open breeding sheep show, a dairy judging contest, and more.
