The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office is trying to solve a curious case after a sheep and a dog turned up unannounced at one of its facilities in Angleton.
Deputies say the pair showed up Saturday morning, and no one seems to know where they came from.
Animal Welfare Services posted about the unlikely duo on social media, calling them a “guardian sheep dog and his friend,” but so far, no one has stepped forward to claim them.
As of late Saturday, officials confirmed the animals were still unclaimed.
Anyone who recognizes the sheep and dog - or knows who they belong to - is asked to contact the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office at 979-864-2365.
