The storm that hit Jarrell on Monday has been confirmed as a tornado, but the National Weather Service has not decided how powerful it was.
Reports say nearly three dozen homes and businesses have light to moderate damage from the storm. A few have heavier damage.
This is the third tornado touchdown in northern Williamson County this year. In March a twister was confirmed in Jarrell and in April there was another one in Florence.
It's been 25 years since the deadly 1997 F-5 tornado struck Jarrell killing 27 people.
