We always like celebrating when Texas is No. 1 in something.  Unfortunately, this isn’t a list we’d like to appear on. But some folks might actually like it!

According to a study from CounselingPsychology.org, Texas ranked number one in the nation as the most narcissistic state.

According to Heavy.com, the study collected Google search data over the past year in every state and the 30 most populous cities, dividing the search terms into four categories: learning about narcissists, narcissists in relationships, narcissists in families, and narcissists at work.

Based on these findings, Texas led the nation with a 92.5 “narcissistic search score,” with Iowa (87.5), New Hampshire (87.5), Maine (85), and Indiana (85) rounding out the top five most narcissistic states.

The states with the fewest narcissists, based on their narcissistic search score, include: Hawaii (0), Wyoming (5), District of Columbia (10), Nebraska (15), Oregon (17.5).
