SAN ANTONIO (1080 KRLD)- A San Antonio elementary school teacher is out of a job and out on bond for possession of narcotics.
38-year-old Mary Hull Elementary Special Education Teacher Daniel Gonzales was arrested on December 6 after Northside ISD security footage showed him with a matchbox containing meth falling out of his pocket when he pulled a classroom key.
Gonzales was charged with possession of narcotics and child endangerment. He's on administrative leave but has resigned effective this Friday.
Some parents are irate with the district because they were not informed until just this week. Students were sent home with a letter to notify families of the incident which they claimed “in no way involved any Mary Hull Elementary School students or other staff members.” However, when parents learned the teacher’s identity involved, they were not happy.
