Tesla will celebrate the first deliveries of its new Cybertruck this week.
The electric vehicles are made at a plant in Austin that Tesla calls "Gigafactory Texas." Tesla announced plans for the unusually shaped truck back in 2019. Now, the company finally has its first vehicles rolled off the assembly line and headed to Tesla stores across the country.
Tesla owner Elon Musk is throwing a party at the plant in Austin on Thursday. Selected shareholders will be allowed to attend, and video of the event will also be streamed on-line.
