Texas drops out of the AP Top 25 following Saturday's 37-34 loss to Texas Tech

Based on their loss to Texas Tech in Lubbock over the weekend, the Longhorns have dropped out of the AP Top 25.

The Red Raiders beat Texas 37-to-34 in overtime.

Ranked 22 last week, Texas is not among the Top 25 this week.

KRLD is the Home of the Horns. Tune in Thursday at 11 p.m. for "Longhorns Weekly" with coach Steve Sarkisian who'll be discussing Saturday's loss and looking ahead to Saturday night when the Horns host West Virginia at Royal-Memorial Stadium.

You can hear the game here on 1080 KRLD. The pre-game show will be at 5:30 p.m. and kick-off is 6:30.

Other Texas schools remain in the Top 25. Texas A&M moved up from 23 to Number 17 based on its 23-to-21 win over Number 10 Arkansas. And Baylor moves up one spot to Number 16 after downing Iowa State 31-to-24.
