President-elect Trump vowed to use executive order to roll back the Biden Administration's energy policies and experts say that will likely end up saving people a couple of bucks at the pump.
David Holt, who heads the Texas-based Consumer Energy Alliance, is excited to see a renewed focus on domestic oil production.
"We are going to produce more energy to meet more of our demand here at home," Holt said. "That will of course put downward pressure on the price of gasoline."
He's eager to see a move away from the past administration. The Biden White House put restrictions on drilling, which drove up oil prices. It also put a pause on exports of liquefied natural gas. Holt says that empowered our enemies in OPEC.
