It's another day of Very High to Extreme fire danger in the western half of Texas.
Much of the state is expecting dry, windy, hot conditions with winds gusting up to 45 in many places today.
The most serious fire right now is the Training Area 23 fire in Bexar County. It's about 85 percent contained and has charred three thousand acres.
