A man wanted in Kerrville, Texas, on charges of online solicitation of a child has been arrested in Arizona, according to U.S. Border Patrol officials.
Agents say they apprehended the suspect, a Mexican national in the country illegally, during an encounter in Kingman. Even more troubling, officials say he was traveling with a family that included two minor children.
The fugitive has been turned over to local law enforcement to face the Texas warrant. Authorities in Arizona are now working with Kerrville police to arrange his extradition.

In addition to the Texas charges, federal immigration authorities have placed a detainer on the man to ensure he remains in custody as the legal process moves forward.
Border Patrol Chief Michael W. Banks called the arrest an example of strong cooperation between agencies to keep wanted criminals from slipping through the cracks.
