
We’ve got a hog problem in Texas. And we know pigs like Wilbur can be adorable, but we’re not talking about your average swine here.
A new report from the University of Georgia and published on behalf of the company Captain Experiences found that Texas has the WORST feral hog problem in the nation!
These hogs are estimated to cause around $2.5 billion in agricultural damage each YEAR!
According to the report, Texas had 2,425 feral hog reports with the pigs were found in 99.6% of the state's counties. Coming in a distant second was Georgia with 1,377 feral hog reports.
Florida came in at third with 1,193 reports, Mississippi at fourth with 731 reports, and Oklahoma at fifth with 665 reports to round out the top five.
