A man is dead and a child is in the hospital after they were hit by lightning in Bosque County in Central Texas.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up for the family and identifies the victims as Matthew Boggs and his six-year-old son Grayson.
Police say Boggs was walking his sons Grayson and Elijah home from their school bus drop off when lightning struck Boggs and went through him into Grayson. The family says they were holding hands at the time. Elijah was not struck.
Grayson is in a Temple hospital where the family says he's on a ventilator. The other boy was not seriously hurt.
