A civil lawsuit is filed against a Texas woman for pulling a gun over a parking space.

Diane Reyes pulled into a spot outside a Corpus Christi Grocery store on Thanksgiving. Court papers say 60-year-old Rossie Dennis wanted that spot and blocked Reyes' vehicle in with her own.

The papers says Dennis' blinker was not on so Reyes did not know Rossie wanted to park there. Court papers say Dennis then got out of her SUV, yelled at Reyes and banged on the window with her hands. She demanded Reyes get out. Reyes walked back to her vehicle and her attorney Jeff Lehrman says and returned with a gun. "Proceeds to threaten her and clicks the gun, which we believe was probably loaded, on the glass window on the driver's side. Basically threatens to kill her."

Reyes, who was in the car with her six-month-old daughter and two friends called 911 and Dennis left.

The lawsuit asks for between 250 thousand dollars and a million dollars.  Lehrman says the civil suit entitles Reyes to "damages for intentional infliction of emotional distress.  Obviously pointing a gun at somebody in the presence of their six month old baby would clearly cause anybody extreme emotional distress."

Reyes has already been arrested and is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
