Texas is at the one-third point of the season and coach Steve Sarkisian says this is his usual time to take stock of the team and the physicality of their practices.
Looking to keep his team fresh for the remainder of the season, Sarkisian says he adjusts by altering practices to the extent that he might reduce reps on some drills. But he says he would never sacrifice "the energy and the intensity" of the workouts.
Appearing on 1080 KRLD with Craig Way on the Longhorn Weekly show, Sarkiaian says he's been equally happy with the team on both sides of the ball, so far.
Offensively, Texas has put up more than 30 points in each of the four games, averaging 35 points while the defense has given up a total of just 50 points spread out over those four games.
