Today is National Voter Registration Day, and Texans have less than a month to check their voter registration before the November election.
Governor Abbott recently announced over a million names were removed from voter rolls. This includes voters on the suspended list, like military members stationed out of state.
A woman, on active duty in Virginia told our media partner NBC5, she found her registration in Tarrant County suspended. She must now submit a statement of residence to vote absentee.
Check your registration by October 7 at vote.texas.gov, or visit the Dallas County election office for in-person registration.
