Today is the last day of school in the Uvalde school district where they will observe the first anniversary of the deadly shooting on Wednesday.
After today, the district has canceled classes "out of respect, observance and safety."
Friday night's high school graduation is on as scheduled, though, with increased safety measures.
Tuesday's Uvalde City Council meeting has been canceled out of respect for the victims and survivors.
