Apparently, wearing specific colors can affect your viewing experience for this April's eclipse.
According to experts, you'll want to throw on a red top if you're planning to capture the once-in-a-lifetime solar eclipse on April 8th. Why? The Purkinje Effect!
The Purkinje Effect makes reds appear darker, relative to other colors, as lighting decreases. So under a total solar eclipse, you'll want to be as dark as possible when it matters most to catch the phenomenon in all its astronomical glory.
