This week, Texans voted on 14 amendments to the Texas Constitution. By far, the one that grabbed the most attention dealt with how much Texans would have to pay in their property taxes.
Texas has billions in surplus, and the lawmakers wanted to make sure some of that money went to property owners through lower property taxes.
