This has been a real problem over the last few weeks... as we're seeing more cases of cars running into people. Another one just happened today in Denton County.
Med Star says it's answered calls for more than 50 auto-pedestrian crashes on the freeways, just in the Fort Worth area. Almost a third of those turned fatal.
In all, they've had more than 700 auto-pedestrian incidents when you include all the surface streets and feeder roads as well.
MedStar says the best advice, if you break down... stay in your car and call for help.
