Elon Musk's X, formerly known as Twitter, announced some major changes to its terms of service. People can now put adult content, like sex acts and nudity in posts.
However, that puts it in direct conflict with a new Texas law.
That law says any websites that have adult content have to have ways to verify the ages of the people that use it. X doesn't do that.
The fines can run as high as $20,000 per day - and that jumps to a quarter million if a child sees porn on the site.
