Texas Tech University is currently investigating a report of a party after a video surfaced of a woman admitting to have the COVID-19 virus.
TMZ reports the video, that has since gone viral, first surfaced on Twitter and in it a young woman at a house party says that when asked if she has coronavirus she responds with, "Yes, I f**king have COVID, the whole f**king world has COVID."
The woman proceeded to flip her camera around and show other people at the party with no face masks or adhering to any social distancing.

Though it has not been confirmed whether the woman actually has COVID-19 or if she is in fact enrolled at Texas Tech, the University has then addressed the situation by posting a Tweet that reads:
"We have received a report and are aware of a video related to COVID. The matter is being addressed by the Office of the Dean of Student and Student Conduct."
According to TMZ, Texas Tech has a total of 612 active COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday. 571 cases involved students.
University President Lawrence Schovanec attributed the rise in COVID-19 numbers to off-campus parties and social gatherings.
