NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- President Trump will visit Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, following the police shooting of Jacob Blake and the subsequent deadly unrest, Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere said Saturday night.

Trump will meet with law enforcement officials and survey damage from the unrest, Deere said, according to a pool report.

Blake, a 29-year-old Black man, was shot in the back seven times by an officer as he was entering his car, leaving him paralyzed.

Earlier in the day, about 1,000 people protested outside a courthouse there against police brutality and to demand that the police officer who shot Blake is prosecuted to the fullest.

His dad, Jacob Blake Sr., told protesters, "There were seven bullets put in my son's back. ... Hell yeah, I'm mad ... what gave them the right to attempted murder on my child? What gave them the right to think that my son was an animal? What gave them the right to take something that was not theirs? I'm tired of this."
