We're waking up to temperatures near 80° this morning with nothing showing up on radar at this time. Partly cloudy today with highs and the upper nineties. There's also a chance for some scattered storms later this afternoon and evening to the southeast of DFW.
Tonight, a large complex of storms will form along a cold front in Kansas and Oklahoma and dive southeast, These storms have a chance to make it into DFW before daybreak, however, the best chance will be along the Red River and into northeast Texas.

Depending on where this cold front resides tomorrow, will determine who sees scattered showers and storms. It will also be a little cooler with highs in the mid nineties.
The dreaded ridge of high pressure returns Friday through early next week.Temperatures will reach the triple digits by Sunday and especially Monday and Tuesday. There is also a very slight chance for early morning showers and storms Saturday through Tuesday with a northwest flow in place. It's still way too early to tell if these will hold together as they move out of Oklahoma. As of now, the best chance of storms will be in NE Texas through the period.
