North Texas experienced below-average temperatures over the weekend but will see above-average temperatures this week. There is no rain in the forecast over the next seven days.
Jackets were necessary again Monday morning as temperatures fell into the low to mid-30s. A south wind returned and will warm temperatures into the mid-60s.
It will be clear and cool again Monday nightwith lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.
The warm-up continues Tuesay with plenty of sunshine. Afternoon highs will reach the mid-70s. It's even warmer than that on Wednesday, with highs near 80 degrees.
A weak cold front will slide through the area Thursday around noon. Wind will shift to the north with gusts to 30 mph. Afternoon highs will top out in the low 70s.
Friday looks beautiful with plenty of sunshine and highs near 70 degrees.
Next weekend will be downright gorgeous as temperatures warm back up. There will be plenty of sunshine Saturday with highs in the mid-70s and Sunday will be sunny, windy, and warm with highs in the low 80s.
