Chilly mornings and cool afternoons through the weekend

Chilly mornings and cool afternoons is your weather story for the next several days.

Cloudy skies will dominate our weather most of today, with some breaks in the clouds expected by late this afternoon. High temperatures will struggle to make it out of the mid to upper 40s.

Skies will clear rapidly tonight as temperatures dipped to near freezing. Another light freeze is expected on Saturday morning as well.

The weekend isn't looking to bad, but and upper level disturbance will cruise across the area late Saturday into early Sunday morning increasing the cloud cover. I can't rule out a few sprinkles but most will stay dry.  Highs Saturday will be in the mid fifties.

The sun will reappear Sunday mid-morning with high temperatures back into the mid fifties.

Lows in the upper thirties to low forties... with highs pushing 60 by Monday and Tuesday, mid sixties by Wednesday and possibly into the upper sixties by Thursday.

Our next weather change looks to arrive by next weekend with a chance of rain returning to the area.
