Be sure to grab your jacket, hopefully you have one that repels rain, and an umbrella, if you don't like to get your hair wet, because you'll need it by this afternoon, through this evening for The Rolling Stones concert,(which will be a mess by the way), and thorough most of the day tomorrow.
We're starting off this morning with temperatures in the low to mid fifties. Actually, that's right at average for this time of the year. Factor in the north wind at 10 to 20 mph, it feels a bit cooler than that.
I don't think we hit 60゚ today, as temperatures pretty much stay steady in the mid to upper fifties.
Readings will drop into the mid to upper forties tonight with widespread rain and some thunder. I don't think we crack 50゚ tomorrow as the rain slowly drifts to the south of us by late afternoon and evening. By the way, no severe storms!
Clouds will decrease on Thursday from north to south, but we will remain on the cool side. High temperatures will only reach the mid to upper fifties.
There is a risk of some frost early Friday morning, especially north and west of DFW. I will remind you to protect your plants and tender vegetation, if necessary, on Thursday.
Friday through the weekend looks spectacular. Highs Friday in the low sixties, Saturday upper sixties, Sunday low seventies. Our warm up will continue into early next week, as southerly winds pick up 15 to 25 mph.
