A chilly start to Wednesday followed by some seasonable days ahead. Some could see rain over the weekend, but no Arctic air will arrive anytime soon.
Temperatures Wednesday morning ranged from 27-34 degrees at 6 a.m. Skies were clear with a west wind at 5-10 mph. It will be sunny and perfect Wednesday with afternoon highs near 60.
South winds pick up Thursday and Friday, but temperatures won't warm up much. This is because high clouds will stream into the area. Daytime highs will still be near 60 degrees, but the mornings won't be as cold. By Friday night, the next system clips DFW to the northeast bringing a slight chance of rain late Friday night through noon Saturday. The more widespread coverage will be in East Texas.
Skies will clear Saturday afternoon with highs in the upper 60s. More sunshine on Sunday with increasing clouds late. Highs once again will reach the upper 60s.
The next weather system brings a rain chance on Monday. High temperatures will reach the mid-60s. It will clear a bit and be cooler for Tuesday with highs near 60 degrees.
