What a beautiful weekend across North Texas! Chilly mornings, cool afternoons, and finally, the wind has relaxed. The good news? We’re looking at another stretch of quiet weather with light winds and slowly warming temperatures as an area of high pressure builds in from northern Mexico.
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to Monday!
We’re waking up to temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s this morning, along with light winds. We’ll continue to see occasional mid-level clouds streaming overhead from the southwest throughout the week, but overall, the weather looks fantastic!
Highs will reach around 75 degrees today before temperatures drop back into the mid-50s Tuesday morning. By Tuesday afternoon, we’ll climb close to 80 degrees, with the warming trend continuing into Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the low 80s Wednesday, with temperatures potentially reaching the middle 80s by Thursday.
Looking ahead to Friday and the upcoming weekend, morning lows will gradually warm into the low to mid-60s. Southerly winds will also pick up a bit, bringing higher humidity during the afternoons. We could even see a few low clouds during the morning hours Saturday and Sunday.
As for rain, the only chances I see across Texas over the next several days will be in the mountains of far West Texas. However, that system out west could eventually help increase our rain chances across North Texas by early to mid-next week.
In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful stretch of weather! We’ve certainly earned it after the heat and dry conditions we’ve dealt with this year.
