It's a quiet start this morning with no rain on radar. Unfortunately, a lot of you missed out on the rain late yesterday evening and early this morning. But, we have more rain chances off and on through Saturday.
Scattered showers and storms will develop to our northwest during the late afternoons both today and tomorrow. A few of these could sneak into DFW but our best rain chance will be Friday and Saturday, as a slow moving cold front approaches from the northwest. Daytime highs today and tomorrow will warm into warm the upper 80s.
Our highest coverage of rain will be Thursday night through midday Saturday. Some areas could pick up 1" to 3" of rain, with the heaviest totals north and west of DFW. High temperatures will stay in the seventies on Friday, low 80s for Saturday.
By Sunday, our stalled cold front will finally press south of the area. Skies will slowly clear giving way for a decent end to our weekend. Temperatures will be in the low 80s.
As of now, your weather next Monday through Wednesday looks pretty darn nice. Plenty of sunshine, lower humidity and mild temperatures. Lows in the 50s... highs in the low 80s.
