We now have heat advisories and yet another air quality alert in effect for today and tomorrow and most likely Saturday, as an upper level ridge of high pressure centers itself right over north Texas Friday and Saturday.

Morning lows will range between seventy-five and eighty degrees, afternoon highs will warm to 101 today, 103 for Friday, and 104 for Saturday. Factor in the humidity, which won't be that bad, it'll feel more like 105+.

Sunday will be another hot day with highs near 100°. By Sunday night in the early Monday morning, a cold front will slide through the area, bringing a chance for a few scattered showers and thunderstorms. Unfortunately, not everybody will see rain. One thing the front will do is cool temperatures off into early next week. The rain presses south of DFW on Monday and Tuesday, but temperatures will be cooler. Afternoon highs will only reach 90 degrees on Monday, 92 on Tuesday, mid 90s by Wednesday, with plenty of sunshine!

Also, don't forget to check out the planet alignment through the rest of the month. You'll have to wake up about 4:30 in the morning and look east to check them out.
