It's a warm and muggy morning across north Texas. I'm also watching an area of low clouds creeping in from the south again. These should mix out by late morning into the early afternoon, giving way for another sunny and hot afternoon. Temperatures will reach the low to mid 90s again, with heat indicies slightly above 100゚. All of the heat advisories will stay west and NW of the Dallas Fort Worth area for the time being.
Rain chances are slim the next 7 days, but I will keep an eye on a complex of storms that may cross the Red River Valley before daybreak tomorrow morning.

No changes in our forecast for all of next week with afternoon highs in the low to mid nineties through Wednesday and then slightly cooler towards next weekend.
I cannot rule out a shower or storm through the period, mainly during the morning hours with our northerly flow in the upper levels of the atmosphere.
By next weekend, the 1st day of summer arrives late Sunday evening. I'm also going to keep my eyes on the Gulf of Mexico, as something tropical may form over the open water by next weekend.
In the meantime, stay cool, hydrated, make sure your pets stay cool, and go buy a large can of insect repellent containing DEET to help ward off the mosquitoes, ticks, and chiggers.
