Friday began with temperatures in the 70s and some high clouds overhead. Those will erode through the morning, giving way to a sunny and hot day. Afternoon highs will top out in the mid-90s. The heat index will be in the upper 90s. There's also an Air Quality Alert in effect this afternoon.
No rain is in the forecast this weekend with plenty of sunshine. A south wind will pick up at 10 to 20 mph, increasing the humidity a bit. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 90s again, but it'll feel like it's close to 100.
Our next weather change arrives early Monday morning as a complex of storms moves In from the northwest. Rain should move off to the southeast by late Monday morning, giving way for a cold front to move through during the day. Afternoon highs will be cooler with readings in the low 80s
Another upper-level disturbance will move in from the northwest late Monday into early Tuesday giving us one more shot of showers and storms. Rain should move out the second half of Tuesday with afternoon highs in the mid-80s.
Sunshine returns on Wednesday and Thursday. Highs on Wednesday will be near 90, low to mid-90s by Thursday.
