More scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop through the day with high temperatures in the low nineties. Heated index values will approach 100゚

Total rainfall at DFW for the month. 4.60" of rain! Some of you have seen
a lot more than that, but others have seen much less, like me in north FTW.


After today, rainfall chances shut off starting tomorrow, through the weekend, and for most of next week, as an area of high pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere dominates our weather.

No rain is in the forecast at least through next Thursday, with high temperatures in the middle nineties through Monday upper 90s through most of next week. Factor in the oppressive humidity. heat index values will get close to heat advisory criteria, which is 105゚+ for two consecutive days. Some relief may return by next weekend as scattered showers and storms may return to the area.
