It's another chilly start across north Texas this morning, as most of the region has fallen into the 30s once again. Some areas along the Red River Valley and east of DFW are flirting with the freezing mark again.

Passing high clouds today will make for quite the view as temps in the afternoon hit a high in the low 60s as a light southerly wind returns.

We'll start tomorrow morning in the upper-30s to mid-40s, with afternoon highs reaching the mid-60s. A southerly wind will pick up and gust to 20 mph, and clouds will increase by evening.

A pretty potent upper-level disturbance will move across north Texas during the day on Thursday, bringing a chance of rain back to the area. As of now, there should be less than a quarter of an inch of rain falling.

Lighter totals to the west and heavier totals to the east of Dallas, where strong storms may form by afternoon. Nothing severe is expected across the Metroplex.

A cold front will move into the area late Thursday and early Friday morning, ushering in slightly cooler air and windy conditions on Friday. Morning clouds and afternoon sunshine will be the rule on Friday, with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
