Rare Halloween full moon to be visible In DFW on Saturday

The moon becomes full tomorrow morning at 9:49 a.m. Texas time, and just in time for Halloween.

While 9:49 is the moment the moon officially turns "full", moonrise in Dallas-Fort Worth is not until Saturday evening at 6:57 p.m. around the time many trick-or-treaters will be hitting the streets.

Although un-related, Saturday is also the last day of Daylight Saving Time. Clocks fall back one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday
