Scattered showers and isolated storms possible through Friday afternoon

Unfortunately, most of us missed out on the rain overnight, unless you live north of highway 380. Only 0.01" of rain officially fell at dfw. 0.02" of rain at Dallas love.

We have 2 more chances of rain across north Texas. The 1st chance will be this afternoon through early evening. The next chance will be the 1st half of tomorrow.

An upper level disturbance that's been parked across the great basin of the Western United States is now starting to move east. Two more ripples of energy will cross the area over the next 36 hours, giving us the rain chance.

Temperatures today and tomorrow will be in the mid 60s for highs. That's about 10゚ below average for this time of the year.

A very strong cold front will plow through the area around dinner time Friday. Wind will shift back to the north and gust over 35 mph. So....if you're heading out Friday evening, definitely bundle up!

Unfortunately, this cold front will not clear things out on Saturday. If we're lucky, we'll see the sun by late afternoon, especially in our western counties.

It will be unseasonably cool this weekend, with highs Saturday near 60゚... if we're lucky. Sunshine comes back out Sunday and sticks around through Tuesday. Sunday's highs low to mid 60s. We'll reach 70 by Monday. Low 70s by Tuesday.

Clouds will be on the increase Wednesday with highs back in the sixties. No rain is in the forecast Saturday through Wednesday.

Also, I want to mention, the rain chances over the next 36 hours will have no of severe storms embedded.
