North Texans woke up to chilly temperatures again Thursday morning, but high temperatures will reach the low 60s. There are slight rain chances on Friday and Saturday morning, but most of the weekend looks nice. Another rain chance arrives late Sunday into Monday.
Afternoon highs on Thursday will top out near 60 degrees. A south wind will pick up and gust to 30 mph during the day.
A breezy south wind will continue on Friday with areas of drizzle developing for the morning commute. A break or two in the clouds is expected by afternoon as temperatures hold steady in the mid to upper 50s all day.
More scattered showers will develop late Friday through mid-morning Saturday. Sunshine will reappear by Saturday afternoon with highs in the upper 60s.
Clouds will slowly increase on Sunday with highs in the upper 60s. The next weather system arrives overnight Sunday into early Monday. Scattered showers are possible late Sunday through early afternoon Monday. The heavier rain totals, and they won't be that heavy, will be east of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Temperatures could still manage to reach the upper 60s with sunshine returning by Monday afternoon.
Tuesday looks nice. Partly cloudy and a bit cooler. Afternoon highs will reach 60 degrees. Clouds move back in late Wednesday with another chance for rain. Daytime readings will level off into the mid-60s.
Extended model data is showing a decent cold front moving through the area Wednesday night. This will drop temperatures below seasonal averages towards the end of next week into the following weekend. No precipitation will be impacting us, just chilly-dry air.
