Any precipitation showing up on radar across North Texas right now is not reaching the ground, but that will change here in the next few hours.
A large area of heavy wet snow is moving in from the west and will be arriving across North Texas from west to east by mid to late morning. This heavy wet snow will cool the temperatures from the mid to upper thirties down the near-freezing before the noon hour.
If you have anything you need to do errands and such, get them done before the noon hour, because conditions will deteriorate rapidly this afternoon even though temperatures will be at or slightly above freezing.
Snow will start to taper off by late this evening as temperatures hover near freezing overnight.
Peeks of sunshine return tomorrow afternoon with highs near 40.
